Multi-Band Dipole Array for WLAN Access Points
S. Sevskiy, M. Brzeska, and W. Wiesbeck, Joint COST 273/284 Workshop on Antennas and Related System Aspects in Wireless Communications, Gothenburg, Sweden, June 2004.
This paper presents a new design of a multi-band printed dipole array covering
UMTS, UMTS+, and all WLAN frequency bands, simultaneously. The antenna has a linearly
polarized bi-directional radiation pattern with a gain of 3.4-6.2 dBi and an input reflection
coefficient better than -18 dB in all WLAN bands. It can be used as an indoor WLAN access
point antenna, providing extended wireless coverage in long halls or corridors.
